I now have the hair cut to go with it !

From a very young age Liam has always been very fond of race bikes. Now Liam is living his Dream . In the first year of Liam's racing Addiction  (2007)  he amazed every one ! He finished in the top 5 of the phoenix southern mini moto championships WOW !. It was amazing !! Liam had learnt so much and made so many good friends and also met some lovely people in the paddock .He had been given some great opportunities for his first year in road racing taking on some big sponsorship deals ! With a team factory BMS ride. With 2007 coming to the last few rounds  minimoto racing  Approached Liam offering him a GRCmoto Ride for 2008. We worked so hard last year  and Liam had his fair share of off's but it was a learning year for us and we didn't plan for liam to do as well as he did with a 5th place Finish in the southern championships !  mom and dad was so proud.

The season had started with Liam entered on his minimoto for all three national championships, but with the reduced finances the MMRA was dropped, and the decision to only ride selective rounds of the newly formed National Pocketbike Series was made. This left the Phoenix championships as the major target and although he was still only seven and the class is for eight year old and upward Liam was granted permission to race the Jawa from the start of the season.
The results at the first Phoenix meeting of the year took the team by surprise when Liam took the first place trophy on the minimoto and third place on the Jawa, things were about to start to get serious! Over the following months, Liam has taken home twenty race trophies, in what was his first serious challenge for a title, and to their credit Anthony and Cheryl, Liam's mum and dad have managed to keep him on a competitive bike all season with a budget that was virtually non existent. Along the way they have had some fantastic product and discount support from companies like Baby Biker in Leamington, Minimoto Racing in Hullavington, Nitro Helmets and a group of local companies who supplied items like bike and van graphics, paddock clothing along with family and friends who have helped where they could, without their support, the season would have been a lot more difficult.

Well as you can guess with twenty trophies in the cabinet, the little fella has surpassed all our expectations, we all knew that he had a talent, but we weren’t quite aware that he would make his mark quite so quickly. In fact he is now the British Champion in the LCRRC Junior A (7 to 11s) Class and is one of, if not the youngest winner ever, claiming the crown with two meetings still to go, along the way he has also picked up second place in the Northern NEMRC and third place in the Southern SEMRC championship, then the unexpected surprise bonus of taking third place overall on the Jawa in the LCRRC British as well, an especially amazing achievement when you think that he is the youngest rider in the class and is so small that the bike had to have the rear shock shortened so that he could reach the floor!!!.

Liam is now moving forward, and we are making plans now for next season, we recently purchased a Metrakit 50cc geared race bike and plan to track day ride the bike until he has the track speed to compete, then to go headlong for the title in 2010, hopefully with the 2009 LCRRC Jawa 50cc title and a second minimoto championship behind him.

The whole team and especially Liam's mum and dad are absolutely amazed at what he has achieved !

Well I Guess your wondering where the name BAD BOY LIAM came from ??   He got the nick name from a friends dad  when he was 3 years old and it has kind'a stuck now all my friends and family call it me .
